In 1931, Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington, founded Brookgreen Gardens to preserve the native flora and fauna and display objects of art within a natural setting.

Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show
Enjoy dinner and entertainment at Pirates Voyage.
This interactive show pits two sides of the audience against one another in interactive competitions. This battle is between pirates in the Sapphire and Crimson camps.
The show features a 750,000 gallon indoor lagoon, 3 pirate ships and more than 2 dozen acrobats, aerialists, divers, dancers, singers, and a brand new original music score by Dolly Parton.

National Museum of the Marine Corps
The National Museum of the Marine Corps is a lasting tribute to U.S. Marines - past, present, and future. Situated on a 135-acre site adjacent to Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, and under the command of Marine Corps University, the museum's soaring design evokes the image of the flag-raisers of Iwo Jima and beckons visitors to this 120,000-square-foot structure. World-class interactive exhibits using the most innovative technology surround visitors with irreplaceable artifacts and immerse them in the sights and sounds of Marines in action.

Enter the doors of the National Museum of the Marine Corps and you enter a space that speaks to the very core of what it means to be a United States Marine.
