Old Westbury Gardens
Old Westbury Gardens, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is the former home of John S. Phipps, his wife, Margarita Grace Phipps, and their four children. Built in 1906 by the English designer George A. Crawley, the magnificent Charles II-style mansion is nestled amid 160 acres of formal gardens, landscaped grounds, woodlands, ponds and lakes. Westbury House is furnished with fine English antiques and decorative arts from the more than fifty years of the family's residence.
The first floor of Westbury House is accessible to people with disabilities. The unpaved gravel pathways through the gardens are not wheelchair accessible.
Tour requires a good amount of walking.

Your guide will take you on an informative "Mansion Row Tour" tour that will include such sights as historical homes, museums, Main Street, churches, and of course mansions. You will have the opportunity to see some of the most elaborate homes in America owned by some of the world's wealthiest people. Many of these homes line the magnificent shores of the South Fork overlooking the majestic Atlantic Ocean.
Sag Harbor was one of the main ports of entry into the U.S. It has a fascinating history of whaling and is still to this day, one of Long Island's most popular maritime villages. During your tour, you will see the town's centuries-old streets lined with ancient trees and inviting homes along with the many antique shops and boutiques that line the village's Main Street.
Montauk Point Lighthouse
Welcome to the Montauk Point Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in New York State. The lighthouse was authorized by the Second Congress, under President George Washington, in 1792. Construction began on June 7, 1796 and was completed on November 5, 1796. This historic landmark has been part of Long Island's land and seascape for over 200 years and still serves as an active aid to navigation.
A steep hill separates the lighthouse from the Visitor's Center. A golf cart is available for visitors who are not able to walk up the hill.

The Mansion Tour begins in the courtyard of the historic house once owned by William K. Vanderbilt II. A guide will describe the history of its construction and the architectural details of Vanderbilts' 24-room mansion at his Eagle's Nest estate.
During the tour visitors will learn about how life was on Long Island's Gold Coast at a time when the Vanderbilts summered in Centerport, about the eclectic collections they surrounded themselves with and what the world was like for the family and staff at the Vanderbilts' Eagle's Nest Estate.
