Enjoy this guided tour by one of Boston's most knowledgeable tour guides. This tour includes all the major sites in Boston and Cambridge. You'll see Old North Church, Paul Revere Home, Boston Commons, Public Gardens, Financial District, Back Bay areas of Fenway, waterfront area, Boston Harbor, Cambridge, and Harvard University.
This tour is mostly walking. Passengers will get off & on the coach.
Bunker Hill Monument and Museum
The Bunker Hill Monument is a 221-foot granite obelisk that marks the site of the first major battle of the American Revolution.
The Battle of Bunker Hill Museum is located on the Freedom Trail, across the street from the Monument. The museum houses exhibits on the Battle of Bunker Hill, the building of the Monument, and the history of Charlestown.
Charlestown Navy Yard
The Navy Yard Visitor Center provides a personal orientation to the sites in Charlestown. Maps, brochures, restrooms, and snacks are also available here. Visitors can enjoy a 10 minute introductory video of the Navy Yard and view the "Serving the Naval Fleet" exhibit.
At the Navy Yard, rangers conduct tours of the WW II/Cold War destroyer U.S.S. Cassin Young, weather permitting/free of charge.
Passengers will have to go through airport style security upon entering.
Optional Boston Harbor Cruise
USS Constitution Cruise with Boston Harbor Cruises
Visit one of Boston's most treasured landmarks, the USS Constitution. Enjoy a 45-minute cruise that brings you up close and personal with "Old Ironsides" at her home in the Charlestown Navy Yard and offers the option to disembark for a close up look at famous ship and accompanying Naval Museum. Other highlights of the tour include the Bunker Hill Monument, the site of The Boston Tea Party, and the Old North Church.
Tours operate daily every hour on the half hour.
The boat has a restroom and snack bar with full bar.
Price is $15 per person.
